It has been said that there are over 50 golf courses, open to the public, within a 1 hour drive of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. Of course this would also have to include the Spokane area as well. We have listed, in alphabetical order, ten of the golf courses and their web sites that we consider some of the best in the area. The golf season in North Idaho usually runs from late March till early November, depending on the year. The unique North Idaho climate of long, warm summers, with plenty of moisture keeps the courses in prime condition.
